struct PixFillState {
notify_started: bool,
fill: FillRate,
last_notify_at: Option<Instant>,
withholding: bool,
draining: bool,
}Fields§
§notify_started: boolWhether the initial notification delay has elapsed.
The notification stream deliberately waits one period before starting, so a Session that closes immediately never sends one. Fill does not wait, and must not be held behind this.
fill: FillRateThe rate the PIX supervisor last asked for. FillRate::ZERO when it is not filling.
last_notify_at: Option<Instant>When a packet was last let through as the SURB-level notification.
The two producers share a stream, so nothing about a packet says which of them it belongs to. This is what makes the distinction: one packet per notification period is the notification and is exempt from the SURB reserve, and everything above that rate is fill and is not.
withholding: boolWhether the SURB reserve is currently withholding fill, so hopr_pix_sessions_stalled counts
this Session once per stall rather than once per refused packet.
draining: boolWhether this stream is draining the SURB buffer of a Session that has already been closed.
Set once, by PixFillControl::enter_drain, and never cleared: a drain ends with the
Session, and the stream with it.
