EffectivePixAdmission

Struct EffectivePixAdmission

Source
pub(crate) struct EffectivePixAdmission {
    enforce_pix: bool,
    quota_range: RangeInclusive<u64>,
    allow_dynamic_ssa_batches: bool,
    ssas_per_request: usize,
}
Expand description

The PIX terms a single incoming Session is admitted on.

Lighter than the whole IncomingSessionPixConfig because only these four fields vary per Session: everything else the supervisor enforces is validated as a set at startup and stays node-wide. Narrowing the quota only makes those deadlines more generous, which is why they need not travel with it.

Fields§

§enforce_pix: bool

Whether this Session must offer PIX at all.

§quota_range: RangeInclusive<u64>

Quota window this Session’s offer must land in, already intersected with the node’s envelope.

§allow_dynamic_ssa_batches: bool

Whether a batch may be derived from the offer, rather than taken as configured.

§ssas_per_request: usize

Largest batch the Exit will ask for.

Implementations§

Source§

impl EffectivePixAdmission

Source

fn ssa_batch_size_for_quota(&self, quota_per_ssa: u64) -> Option<usize>

Selects the batch size with which an Entry’s per-SSA quota is acceptable.

Dynamic mode walks from one upwards so it asks for no more Entry work, deposits or Exit reconstructor state than necessary. Fixed mode is the legacy rule: validate one SSA against the range, then request exactly the configured batch size.
