pub(crate) const MAX_SUPERVISOR_DURATION: Duration;Expand description
Upper bound on any supervisor duration, as it is actually armed.
24 h is far above anything a supervisor deadline should be, and the point is not the number but
the failure it forecloses: every phase reads an absent deadline as no deadline, and
Instant::checked_add returns None for a duration the monotonic clock cannot represent. So a
large enough configured value does not produce a long deadline, it produces none at all — the
supervisor silently stops enforcing that phase.
Enforced twice, and deliberately so. validate_pix_supervision rejects a config above it,
which is what an operator should see. SessionManager::new clamps to it, because nothing in
this crate calls validate and a programmatically assembled config would otherwise reach the
supervisor unchecked.
